Good team work in three phrases

Two lads football teams playing against each other.

Everything they need to say to coordinate their collective action is in three phrases:

  • “Give him options” – support a team member who is being pressured by the other team.
  • “Pressure them” – when to act offensively.
  • “Unlucky” – recognises a team mate taking a risk and trying something even though it didn’t work.

But this only comes from training together lots.

Thought about a taxonomy for meetings, and whether ‘agenda’ is part of a ‘meeting’ or whether ‘agenda’ (the purpose of the meeting, not the list of things to talk about) is the bigger thing and ‘meeting’ is subordinate to it. Then, ‘chat’ or ‘document’ could also be similar objects all within ‘agenda’.

Spent some time learning about GA4. Don’t really feel like I understand it any better.

My website had a referral from lens.google.com, which is a bit weird.

Thinking hard and looking for signals about the future.
