Follow a few people on Twitter. Sign up for a couple of emails. Read the occasional blog post. It’s not exactly a well-structured or effective approach to staying up to date with what’s going on in your industry. Knowing what’s going on, what’s going to disrupt the industry, what the top players are doing to be successful is important in … and for your own personal development.
Ask yourself a few questions:
- How fast does your industry move?
- What do you want to achieve by being up to date?
- How far ahead do you want to be thinking?
- How much time are you going to commit to staying up yo date?
