Neurodivergent canaries
I really don’t like the narrative that neurodivergent people are like canaries in the coalmine for organisations.
Canaries are in the coalmine in the first place to be sacrificed. That’s what happens when something is wrong in the mine. Suggesting that neurodivergent people should be treated in this way isn’t great.
