Shrek: films, fairytales and forgiveness
I watched Shrek today. I think it’s a film about friendship and forgiveness. Donkey forgives Shrek for how he treats him, Shrek forgives Fiona, Fiona forgives Shrek, and the Dragon forgives them all. There’s a lot of forgiveness
It makes sense that as fables and fairytales were used to the past to impart life lessons, that films about fairytales continue in the same tradition.
