Most “problems”

Most “problems” can’t be solved. Just as some problems have multiple solutions, most problems have no solution. We can accept the problem, maybe change some of the conditions it exists within, but we usually can’t solve it.

Why are hard things hard and why can’t we accept it?

Complexity. That’s the answer. Hard things are usually really complex, and human brains are designed to understand it. Even at the limit of our mental capacity, things look simple.

Doing hard things requires an emergent approach. It doesn’t make hard things any easier but it’s more accepting of the realities than a deterministic approach.
