Practising dodging spaghetti
This time in the form of team meetings. Everyone wants and needs different things. I don’t think we understand those needs so we go with what seems like it might work for the majority. It doesn’t seem like something I can add value to, so best to just go along with it.
Work better together
Small piece of work (involving mostly pointless changes) that I managed to turn some small part of it into working openly and collaboratively. I wonder what drives the behaviour for closed working. Is it a conveyor belt mentality of only needing to involve the next person along? Is there some deeper worry about appearing to not know everything? Is it just not having experienced a better way?
The double empathy problem
No one understands anyone else, and everything thinks it’s everyone else’s fault.
