Animals on the internet have always brought a smile to our faces. Lolcats shows that people like to share the antics of their pets and enjoy laughing at other peoples pets. And it doesn’t stop there. Whether its a rubber duck or a real dog, animals and mascots are making their way into social media marketing. Is it a good thing? Are animals a good online marketing tool? They always have an air of fun and silliness about them which makes it difficult to take them seriously, especially when you know there is a person behind their amusing tweets.
