What went well?

Getting better at being disciplined around organising my work.

Really good discovery call with a team working on a programme.

Trying to answer big, broad, out-of-context questions.

More focus, or accept that less progress at weekends is ok.

Wrote up my thoughts on my daily personal stand-up.

Get a process in place for branding ideas since I often struggle with naming projects and products.

Made some progress on what a complete digital safeguarding solution looks like.

Not working on days I’m off work.

What could I do differently in the future?

Not arrange or accept meetings on my days off.

What went well?

Finished some documents to share knowledge with other teams and get some decisions.

What didn’t go so well?

Not being able to coordinate a particular piece of work satisfactorily to make it move fast enough.

What could I do differently in the future?

I could have taken more control earlier perhaps.

What went well?

Mocked-up a booking page to test allowing young people to book meetings.

Agreed some digital safeguarding solutions.

Getting others to focus on simplicity.

Found an issue in one of safeguarding solutions.

What could I do differently in the future?

It’s part of a bigger problem, so it’ll take some time, but more public guidance and reiterating the goal.

Wrote a solution document in quick smart time.

Was asked to do another Digital Charity talk.

What didn’t go so well?

Wasn’t able to meet some expectations at work.

What could I do differently in the future?

Not sure. I feel I’ve been clear about the stakeholders not wanting the solutions.

Started to uncover some problems with a new project so we can solve them.

Didn’t get any work done this evening.

Accept that it’s ok to have an evening off.

Sent my second ‘Read Recently’ thread on Twitter.

Got some good feedback on my charity meetup talk and finished writing it.

What didn’t go so well?

Didn’t have enough time to go for a proper walk (only a quick one).

Kinda got chased out of dodge (such is the life of a nomad).

What could I do differently in the future?

Not say ‘yes’ to so many things, or accept that it means not doing other things.

Don’t stay in one place too long.
