Mostly revision all day.
But I went for a walk and got a stiles.style to over 200 stiles.
And I did another Recently Read Twitter thread.
Would have liked to have got more revision done, but I did quite a lot of reading.
Not much
Got everything done on my to do list, including:
Started a new cool little project which I’m really looking forward to working on.
Nothing much.
Keep starting the day with focused and realistic to do lists.
Did a bit more work on project planning.
Did some revision for my exam next week.
Didn’t get my weeknotes written.
Stick to schedule better.
Made some progress on project planning.
Wrote a blog post about my thoughts on agile project management.
Went out for a dance/walk.
Did some service design course assignment.
Emotional day.
More detachment.
Sent a good update on a project.
Set up a password manager.
Didn’t get any revision done.
Really need to prioritise my revision and service design assignment.
Adapting to the latest range of scope changes.
Had a good chat with a team member about the changes and appreciating their approach to work.
Didn’t get any revision done.
Get some revision done.
Refining the scope of work to better fidelity.
Work with the team of understand how we’ll approach delivering on that scope.
Worked all evening and didn’t get any revision done.
Didn’t get the answers I need to make a decision about where to focus our efforts.
Do it myself?
Went for a nice walk and talked about all kinds of things from the role charities play in society to what problem the education system is trying to solve.
Wrote my fourth ‘Things I’ve Read Recently” Twitter thread.
Didn’t get any revision done.
Nothing. Just not enough hours in the day.
Wrote my weeknotes.
Went for a walk and spent some time thinking about non-militaristic metaphors for team work, mostly around jazz and improvisation. Also learned about Brian Eno’s oblique strategies and see where the history of that kind of random playing card comes from.
Was awake until 3 am thinking about work.
Still can’t get into groove of writing my talk.
Maybe I should try a different approach to writing my talk. Perhaps on paper or Miro board to get to a better outline.
