  • Comparing desktop traffic with mobile, customers using desktop purchased 52.6% of all the units sold in 2017, whilst mobile users purchased 28.5% of all units. And the average order value for desktop users is 34% higher than for mobile users.

Interesting stat of the week…

  • So far in 2018, 50% of our traffic was on mobile device, 30% on desktop, and 20% on Tablets, but when it comes to placing an order, 42% was on Mobile, 37% on desktop, and 21% on Tablets. Is this due to usual customer behaviour or does it show that we need to focus more on Mobile traffic to get the Convertors up to the same percentage as the traffic?

  • Over the last month, on the first page of the Christmas Cards category page the Religious filter was the most used with 0.37% of the clicks, the first card was the most clicked with 2.06% of the clicks, and the most clicked button was to go to page 2 of the Christmas cards with 7.38% of the clicks.

  • Christmas cards this year compared to last year: The first page of products has seen a 272% increase in unique pageviews, conversion rate for all Christmas card pages is up 34%, and Christmas card revenue is up 116%. That’s a good start.
